Generations Arena

When I was in college I considered video games to be a fun hobby that I merely obsessed over while trying to be serious about pursuing my degree.  Then while playing too much Quake, I became involved with a mod team known as Wirehead Studios.  We were working on many small projects, but the crown jewel was a mod called Generations Arena.  The idea was to bring in all the original classes and weapons from the previous Id games including Wolfenstein, Doom, Quake, and Quake 2 into Quake 3 multiplayer.  The team had a strong following with quite a few fans.  I did almost any job within the team to learn as much about game development as possible, from building levels and scripting, up to and including production and PR.  After this experience and moving to California, I quickly realized what I wanted to do with the rest of my life.
